EOTC Reflections

EOTC Stands for Education Outside The Classroom at our school we have these at the end of every year. On the days we went to Adrenalin Forest, Jellie Park, and The Christchurch City in this order. Before we went to Adrenalin Forest we spent some time at Spencer Park, this was the worst part of the trip because it took way too long and it was too hot with no shade and we only had like ten minutes of Adrenalin Forest but it was still ok. After that came the Jellie park which was the best of all we had permission to hop on the hydro slide and I took that seriously and I went about 13 times and half of them were me going heads first, apart from that there were many inflatable toys in the pool and even a diving pool as every pool would have. last was the City Tour we visited lots of places and we had a scavenger hunt with a prize draw to the people that have completed the hunt we visited the City Library (Turanga), Margaret Mahy Park and much more. It was worth the year if I had to give it a rating I would give it a 7.5 I might spend some time here in the holidays.

Hello, at science I and my team have been designing an egg lander for our egg we named him Felix Eggstrong we had only two days to make it we were given foam, popsicle sticks, skewers, rubber bands, string, paper, tape and some bit of a plastic bag we used these materials to create an egg lander, the foam did most of the work as it absorbed most of the damage if I were to do this again I would have to add another parachute as the egg fell quick the best part of our build was the foam as it helped the most and made it look better.

Hello, For this lesson I was learning about gravity on other planets here are some questions our teacher has given us.

Is gravity same on all planets?

No, the larger the mass equals more gravity meaning Jupiter has the most gravity and mercury has the least, did you know that Jupiter has 2.3 more gravity than earth?

How is gravity related to mass?

The more mass something has the more gravity plus the closer mass is to other objects the more gravitational pull.

Calculate your mass on other planets

How will your life change on other planets?

By living on planets with less gravity you have to exercise more because there is less gravity to weigh to down during exercise and the opposite works for planets with stronger gravity.

Market day was not very appealing but it did work out, it was not a good day to be outside because it was crowded and red hot my group didn't attend stand our that often but the helped behind the scenes, so I only had done all the work with the CEO people wouldn't pay for our product instead they just traded turns we discussed to teachers if they can be part of our product they agreed by they didn't show up at all, I can talk more about this but it's too much there wasn't much good stuff happening but it was fun preparing and there was a DJ but the music that was played was quite decent actually, we made banners both digital and real-life my favorite part had to be painting. Our product was throwing sponges at teachers or the company our company is called Chuckies Sponges.

So this is my opinion about market day hopefully it would turn out neat next time.

In the last two weeks, we have looked at resilience - Emotional awareness (understanding emotions) and impulses. I have come to realize that there are different options and emotions for some scenarios and being able to control my emotions avoids trouble.

Knowing how to react and respond in situations rather than acting on impulses means that you know what you're doing

The effect that these things have on my social wellbeing (taha whanau)

At first, I did not know what most of these meant but later I learned Basically, impulses are like reactions imagine you are walking home then someone honks at you how will you react if I would react to this I would ignore and look away.

there was another activity where we had to write and many emotions we know down this may have sounded easy but it was harder than you think our group only scored about 24 words.

For this week we are finishing off what we have done for arts kete because this is the last week for arts kete and we are also going to display them next week, my comic is about was a green martian needs money for a rocket to go back home but purple Martians keep stalking him and stopping him from getting a job but the green martian doesn't know about the purple martian but eventually green martian buys an entire business and makes money but the purple Martians get so mad they nuke his business and they want to have his rocket so they can go home but the green Martians take off on their backup rocket but the purple Martians shoot down the rocket and land on his home planet and meets his family the end

Magandang Umaga, this week we are learning about the Philippines independence day.

Did you know that the Philippines independence day is celebrated on Friday 12 June every year?

Did you know that Philippines independence day means independence from Spain and it also means Day of Freedom

Did you know that the Philippines flag has three meanings unity, peace, and war plus if the flag has red on top and blue on the bottom it means war but if blues on top and reds on the bottom then that means peace?

If you want to celebrate this day I recommend doing these
